Pushpa 2 (Hindi) Box Office: Allu Arjun starrer achieves the biggest single day with Rs. 86 crores earned on Sunday

Filmmaker Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule has been in the news ever since it was announced at the end of the first film Pushpa: The Rise, which was released in December 2021. Hence, the second film in the franchise was expected to open well. But Pushpa 2 has done much more than that as it has literally taken the box office by storm. The Hindi version of the movie has reached close to Rs. 300 crores in its first four days itself, which is a humongous number.

This was possible after the film earned an unthinkable amount of Rs. 86 crores yesterday, which was a Sunday. This, in fact, is the biggest single day ever in the Hindi market. By doing this, Pushpa 2 has left behind the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan, which had earlier topped the list by earning Rs. 80.10 crores on its fourth day. Jawan has also bagged the third and fourth number in the list with Rs. 77.83 crores and Rs. 75 crores on its third and first day respectively.

Interestingly, Pushpa 2 is on number five and six too in the list as the film had amassed Rs. 74 crores and Rs. 72 crores on its third and first day respectively. The seventh spot is taken by the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal with Rs. 70.69 crores, which it made on its third day.

Produced under the banners of Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, Pushpa 2 also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles.
