Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava, directed by Laxman Utrekar and co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, has emerged as a box office juggernaut since its release on February 14, 2025. The historical epic, which delves into the life of Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, struck a powerful chord with audiences, particularly in Maharashtra. The film opened with a stellar response and has maintained an extraordinary trajectory, crossing the Rs. 100 crore mark in its opening weekend, followed by Rs. 200 crore within the first week. By the end of its second weekend, Chhaava had stormed past the Rs. 300 crore milestone at the domestic box office.

In Mumbai, the film has delivered exceptional numbers, securing its place as the fourth highest-grossing film of all time in the city. This achievement is particularly remarkable considering the stiff competition it faced from previous box office giants. The record-holder in Mumbai remains Pushpa 2 - The Rule, which amassed a staggering Rs. 249.28 crore, firmly placing it at the top. Close behind, Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion collected Rs. 191.58 crore, solidifying its position as one of the biggest cinematic successes in India. Meanwhile, Stree 2, despite being from the horror-comedy genre, stunned everyone with its Rs. 189.87 crore earnings in Mumbai.

With Rs. 187.32 crore, the Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava has now overtaken the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan, which had earlier set a high benchmark with Rs. 166.52 crore. The film also surpassed the Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2, which earned Rs. 147.33 crore, as well as another Shah Rukh Khan-led blockbuster, Jawan, which raked in Rs. 141.09 crore in Mumbai. Even Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior, a film that similarly celebrated Maratha history, collected slightly lower at Rs. 136.94 crore. Other notable films that Chhaava has outperformed in Mumbai include K.G.F - Chapter 2 (Rs. 134.61 crore) and Animal (Rs. 112.29 crore).

The overwhelming response to Chhaava in Mumbai underscores the deep connection audiences have with historical and culturally significant narratives, especially when they depict the legacy of Maratha warriors. Vicky Kaushal’s power-packed performance, along with Laxman Utrekar’s direction, has ensured that the film not only enjoys commercial success but also cements its place in the cinematic history of Mumbai. By surpassing Pathaan and securing a spot among the top four highest-grossing films in the region, Chhaava has proven that compelling storytelling rooted in history can still dominate the box office.

Yet again, there as a massive Saturday jump for Chhaava as collections zoomed to Rs. 22.50 crores. That’s tremendous both as an absolute number for the 15th day and the fact that Friday was Rs. 13.30 crores and this has gone almost as Rs. 10 crores ahead. Moreover, this has also been a trend seen post-pandemic where even big budget films see this kind of terrific jump when they have been accepted by the audiences.

In a way, it’s an “aar ya paar” scene for all the movies that are arriving from Bollywood currently. Either they fail so big that there is just no redemption round the corner. On the other hand, when they are successful then they are far bigger than how one may not have even imagined prior to release. That explains how the business is so skewed when several biggies either fold up under Rs. 100 crores mark or end up aiming for that Rs. 500 crores straight away.

This is what’s happening for the Vicky Kaushal starrer as well which has now come close to Rs. 450 crores mark already in just 15 days, which means an average of Rs. 30 crores per day since release. Currently standing at Rs. 447.26 crores, the film will come close to Rs. 475 crores and then cross Rs. 500 crores with ease by Thursday.

It was a stable Friday for Chhaava as Rs. 13.30 crores came in. After seeing a drop on Thursday when Rs. 13.60 crores had come in, the film has actually done quite well on Friday to be at the same levels. This was on the cards as well since Thursday collections were a bit unexpected after a phenomenal run so far, hence stability was on the cards.

Moreover, the fact that the film had scored in double digits on its third Friday means that at a bare minimum, a half century would be scored over the weekend. In fact, if Saturday jump is similar to the last weekend when the collections had almost doubled up then an even bigger total is round the corner. There is practically nil competition for the film with new and holdover releases not managing even Rs. 1 crore between them on Friday, which means Chhaava will continue to be a one horse race.

The film has now collected Rs. 424.76 crores already and the momentum is back on its side, which means Rs. 500 crores could well be crossed in three weeks itself. To think of it, there is Holi weekend also ahead in a fortnight from now, which means a huge number is right there to aim for the Vicky Kaushal starrer.

After seeing a massive Wednesday when Rs. 25.02 crores came in, Chhaava saw a sharp drop in collections on Wednesday as Rs. 13.60 crores were collected at the box office. A drop was on the cards as well since the film had anyways been having a phenomenal run ever since its release and after collecting nearly Rs. 20 crores each on Monday and Tuesday, it had gone huge on Wednesday with Rs. 25 crores been crossed. Hence, it was pretty much on the cards that the numbers will go below Rs. 20 crores for sure.

Still, at least Rs. 15 crores still seemed possible on Thursday but the fact that the numbers have come to Rs. 13.60 crores has been surprising. Today, due to lack of competition, the collections will comfortably stay in double digits for sure and in fact there may be stability around Rs. 12-13 crores range as well. Moreover, a major jump is on the cards over rest of the weekend with Rs. 20 crores set to be collected on at least Sunday, if not Saturday itself.

The Vicky Kaushal starrer has now collected a massive Rs. 411.46 cores and Rs. 450 crores milestone will be comfortably crossed by the close of third weekend. Post that, the film’s journey towards Rs. 500 Crore Club will begin; a feat that will be accomplished by the fourth weekend.

After scoring Rs. 19.10 crores on Monday and Rs. 19.23 crores on Tuesday, Chhaava got back into the 20s all over again on Wednesday. This was on the cards as well due to Maha Shivratri partial holiday and while the effects were seen from Tuesday evening itself, full-on momentum came on Wednesday when the footfalls increased quite well.

As a result, Rs. 25.02 crores more came in, which is an excellent number for second Wednesday. When it’s so tough to get these kind of numbers even on the opening day for the biggest of the films, to see this Vicky Kaushal starrer manage that on its 13th day says a lot about its acceptance.

The overall collections of the historical action drama now stand at Rs. 397.86 crores and today it will not just sail past the Rs. 400 crores mark but also close the second week in the vicinity of Rs. 415 crores. The second week is turning out to be huge for the film and with very good showcasing already in place for the third week, quite a few more records are set to be broken.

It was another fantastic day for Chhaava as Rs. 19.23 crores came in. There is a bit of growth over Monday collections of Rs. 19.10 crores and that was on the cards as well since first and foremost the film been accepted well by the audiences and secondly today is also a partial holiday of Maha Shivratri due to which evening and night shows were better yesterday.

There is good pace that the film is maintaining towards scoring Rs. 400 crores and given the fact that it has already collected Rs. 372.84 crores now, an entry into the Rs. 400 Crore Club will happen with ease within two weeks itself. Today the film will certainly go past the Rs. 20 crores mark and that will bring it within Rs. 10 crores distance of achieving that milestone, which it will do tomorrow.

The success of Chhaava is good for the exhibitors since they now have a film which will keep them engaged till Sikandar arrives. Also, excellent footfalls at least in first three weeks of the film’s run is a relief. That said, what the industry needs is continued successes of smaller and mid-size films as well and at least two hits every month. That’s required for Bollywood to thrive so that more and more films can be made which are commercial entertainers and in turn good money spinners.

Vicky Kaushal’s historical action drama, Chhaava, continues its unstoppable run at the box office, nearing the Rs. 500 crore milestone worldwide. Directed by Laxman Utekar and co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, the film was released on February 14, 2025 (Valentine’s Day) and has been a box office sensation ever since. Right from its opening weekend, Chhaava displayed tremendous box office potential, swiftly crossing the Rs. 100 crore mark in just three days. By the end of its first week, it entered the Rs. 200 crore club, and by the second weekend, the film had already collected Rs. 334.51 crore domestically.

Now, as Chhaava progresses into its second full week in theatres, it has amassed a staggering Rs. 492.9 crore worldwide, solidifying its position as one of the biggest Bollywood hits of 2025. Unsurprisingly, Chhaava has been an absolute box office force in Maharashtra, given its Maratha warrior narrative. However, the film has also found significant success in other domestic markets, proving that its appeal extends far beyond regional boundaries. Meanwhile, the film’s overseas performance has been impressive, contributing Rs. 71.94 crore to the total collection. The movie has been particularly well received in North America, the Middle East, and Australia, where audiences have embraced its rich storytelling and action-packed sequences.

Given its unrelenting momentum, Chhaava is all but certain to cross the Rs. 500 crore mark in the next couple of days. However, what’s even more exciting is that trade experts believe the film could surpass Rs. 600 crore worldwide by the end of its second week.

With no major Bollywood releases until Eid (Salman Khan’s Sikandar), Chhaava has ample room to continue dominating the box office. As it inches closer to its next milestone, all eyes are now on whether Vicky Kaushal’s biggest hit to date will challenge even bigger box office records.

Vicky Kaushal’s latest historical epic, Chhaava, has carved a special place for itself in Bollywood’s box office history. Directed by Laxman Utrekar and co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, the film was released on February 14, 2025 (Valentine’s Day) and has been unstoppable since. After opening on a thunderous note, Chhaava quickly crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark by the end of its opening weekend. Its momentum continued to soar, reaching Rs. 200 crore by the end of its first week. Now, in just 10 days, the film has stormed past the Rs. 300 crore milestone, collecting a total of Rs. 334.51 crore.

This phenomenal box office feat has placed Chhaava among Bollywood’s elite Rs. 300 crore club, ranking it as the 13th all-time highest-grossing film in this coveted list. What makes this achievement even more special is that Chhaava has overtaken Salman Khan’s blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Hrithik Roshan’s action thriller War, both of which had previously been among Bollywood’s biggest money-spinners.  The Salman Khan-starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) was a massive hit, winning hearts with its emotional storyline and spectacular box office numbers. The film took 20 days to cross the Rs. 300 crore mark, eventually collecting Rs. 320.34 crore. However, Chhaava has outpaced this record, achieving the feat in just 10 days, making it one of the fastest films to enter the Rs. 300 crore club. Similarly, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s War (2019), known for its high-octane action sequences, took 19 days to breach the Rs. 300 crore mark, collecting Rs. 318.01 crore. Once again, Chhaava has surpassed this milestone in half the time, reaffirming its position as a box office juggernaut.

With its Rs. 334.51 crore collection, Chhaava now sits at No. 13 on the all-time highest Rs. 300 crore grossers list, just behind Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai (Rs. 339.16 crore in 16 days). Meanwhile, the Vicky Kaushal-starrer has already outperformed Bajrangi Bhaijaan and War, proving its massive box office pull.

Despite strong competition, Chhaava continues to dominate the box office and is now racing towards its next milestone: Rs. 400 crore. Industry experts predict that the partial holiday on Maha Shivratri (Wednesday) will give the film another significant boost, potentially pushing it even closer to the Rs. 400 crore mark. As Chhaava cements its place in the record books, it’s clear that Vicky Kaushal has delivered the biggest blockbuster of his career. With audiences still flocking to theatres, the film’s unstoppable momentum suggests that even bigger milestones lie ahead. The only question now is—how high can Chhaava soar!

Vicky Kaushal’s latest historical epic, Chhaava, has created history at the box office, marking a significant milestone in the actor’s career. Directed by Laxman Utrekar and starring Rashmika Mandanna alongside Vicky, the film was released on February 14, 2025, and has been on a record-breaking spree ever since.   Chhaava opened to an overwhelming response on Valentine’s Day, and its momentum only grew stronger in the days that followed. The film’s deep-rooted connection with Maharashtra, owing to its story about a Maratha warrior, resulted in exponential business growth in the state. At the same time, its appeal resonated with audiences nationwide, helping it cross the Rs. 100 crore mark over its opening weekend. By the end of its first week, Chhaava had entered the Rs. 200 crore club at the domestic box office. Now, with its second weekend wrapped up, the film has achieved another major feat—crossing the Rs. 300 crore mark, standing tall at Rs. 334.51 crore.

This landmark collection makes Chhaava Vicky Kaushal’s first-ever Rs. 300 crore grosser, solidifying his position among Bollywood’s top stars. It has also officially become his highest-grossing film, surpassing some of his most celebrated hits. Until now, Vicky’s highest-grossing film was Uri: The Surgical Strike, which collected Rs. 245.36 crore during its theatrical run. The war drama was a game-changer for the actor, proving his ability to lead a high-octane, patriotic action film. However, Chhaava has now comfortably surpassed Uri, further elevating Vicky’s box office standing.

Another major film in Vicky’s career, Raazi, where he starred alongside Alia Bhatt, collected Rs. 123.84 crore. Despite not being a mass-action entertainer, the film performed exceptionally well due to its gripping narrative and strong performances. Yet, Chhaava has nearly tripled its lifetime collection in just two weeks, showcasing its unprecedented box office power. In 2023, Vicky delivered a surprise hit with Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, a light-hearted romantic comedy that earned Rs. 88 crore at the box office. Although the film performed beyond expectations, its numbers now pale in comparison to Chhaava, which has become a juggernaut at the ticket counters.

Meanwhile, Vicky’s other notable releases—Bad Newz (Rs. 66.28 crore), Bhoot: Part One – The Haunted Ship (Rs. 31.97 crore), and Manmarziyaan (Rs. 17.09 crore)—saw varying degrees of success but never reached the scale of Chhaava.

With the film still performing exceptionally well at the box office, Chhaava is now racing toward its next big milestone—Rs. 400 crore. The upcoming Maha Shivratri partial holiday (Wednesday) is expected to further boost its earnings, helping it inch closer to the coveted mark.

As Chhaava continues its rampage, it’s evident that Vicky Kaushal has delivered a career-defining blockbuster. The film’s grand success cements his ability to headline massive projects and reinforces his growing stature as one of Bollywood’s most bankable stars. All eyes are now on the next milestone—will Chhaava hit Rs. 400 crore!

The much-awaited film Chhaava has proven to be a massive box office success, surpassing expectations and breaking records with each passing day. Starring the versatile Vicky Kaushal and the talented Rashmika Mandanna, the film, directed by Laxman Utrekar, has taken the cinematic world by storm. Released on February 14, 2025—Valentine’s Day—Chhaava made an electrifying start at the box office, and its momentum has only grown since.

In Maharashtra, the film saw exponential growth over its opening weekend, while across the country the business of the film quickly crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark by the end of its opening weekend. Continuing its dominance at the box office, by the end of its first week, Chhaava had crossed Rs. 200 crore at the domestic box office, making it clear that the film had struck a chord with audiences. However, it didn’t stop there.

Now, after the close of its second weekend running, Chhaava has crossed the highly coveted Rs. 300 crore mark continuing its rampage and making its place as one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. The film’s success has been nothing short of phenomenal, with weekend two delivering another massive boost to its earnings. Chhaava now joins the ranks of only a few films, including Pushpa 2 (Hindi version), that managed to collect Rs. 100 crore in their second weekend.

Interestingly, the film's business was slightly impacted by the much-anticipated INDvsPAK cricket match on Sunday, as fans tuned in to the Champions Trophy. Despite this, Chhaava still managed an impressive Rs. 41.10 cr on its second Sunday. Industry trade analysts believe that without the competition from the match, the film could have easily reached a Rs. 50 crore+ Sunday total.

With the second weekend behind it, Chhaava is now racing towards its next milestone: Rs. 400 crore. The upcoming partial holiday on Maha Shivratri (Wednesday) is expected to give a further boost to the film’s box office numbers, potentially propelling it even further into blockbuster territory. As Chhaava continues its winning streak, fans and industry experts alike are eager to see just how far this massive success will go.

Chhaava has stepped into an altogether different league now. The film was as it is huge on Friday when Rs. 24.03 crores had come in. Not just it had done bigger business than Thursday, it had also maintained its Rs. 20 crores+ streak intact. No wonder, it was a given that the film will step into the 30s on Saturday and then 40s on Sunday. After all, it’s an accepted film and hence big bucks were surely on the way.

What has happened though on Saturday is unbelievable and something that has never happened for a film of this scale and size. The film ended up growing spectacularly well, what with the collections jumping by more than 80% on Saturday. Yes, you read it right. The growth was more than 100% and as a result it’s not the 30s that has been captured by the film, it’s a straight up 40+ for the film, what with Rs. 44.10 crores coming in.

What Vicky Kaushal starrer has done on its second Saturday is truly remarkable. Going by the trend, anything can happen today and even Rs. 50 crores doesn’t seem impossible today. Chhaava currently stands at Rs. 293.41 crores and Rs. 300 Crore Club milestone will be achieved today in just 10 days.

Blockbuster.

The Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Chhaava, directed by Laxman Utrekar, continues its stellar box office run. Released on February 14, 2025, the film opened to a thunderous response, particularly in Maharashtra, where its business skyrocketed over the opening weekend. Riding on the massive wave of appreciation and audience demand, Chhaava quickly raced past the Rs. 100 crore mark in Mumbai alone, firmly establishing its dominance at the box office.

By the end of its first week, Chhaava had not only crossed Rs. 200 crore at the domestic box office but also set its sights on the Rs. 300 crore mark, which trade experts predict could be breached by the end of its second weekend. What makes this feat even more remarkable is the territory-wise breakdown of the film’s collections, highlighting Mumbai’s massive contribution to its overall earnings. From the total domestic earnings of Rs. 249.31 crore, the Mumbai circuit alone contributed Rs. 104.52 crore, making up approximately 41.9% of the film’s total business. This overwhelming share further underscores the film’s tremendous appeal in Maharashtra, given its subject matter centered on the Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

Following Mumbai, the Delhi-UP circuit emerged as the second-highest contributor, collecting Rs. 36.45 crore, and accounting for 14.6% of the film’s total collections. The film’s business in East Punjab stood at Rs. 19.30 crore, contributing 7.7%, while the Central Punjab region amassed Rs. 12.86 crore, making up 5.2% of the overall earnings. Additionally, Central India raked in Rs. 8.85 crore, contributing 3.6% to Chhaava’s staggering domestic collection.

Being a film rooted in Maratha history, Chhaava was expected to perform exceptionally well in Maharashtra, and it has not only met but surpassed those expectations. The film’s consistent growth in earnings and its widespread appeal across territories indicate that it is far from slowing down. As Chhaava enters its second weekend, trade analysts anticipate a further surge in collections, possibly propelling the film toward the Rs. 300 crore milestone. If the current trend continues, Chhaava could well become Vicky Kaushal’s highest-grossing film to date, cementing its place among Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters

It was another huge day for Chhaava as the film ended up staying over Rs. 20 crores mark. The collections have been fantastic right through the weekdays and on Wednesday, they even went over Rs. 30 crores mark. Even if Rs. 18-20 crores come on Thursday, then that would have been superb and here the film is scoring even better.

With Rs. 21.60 crores coming in, the film has now crossed Rs. 225 crores mark in the first week itself. Standing at Rs. 225.28 crores, the historical affair is continuing to be an overdrive and looks like there is so much more that is waiting to be earned. If the film ends up finding itself in Rs. 18-20 crores range today as well, then sky would be the limit for it as the second weekend in Rs. 70-75 crores range would be a given then.

Vicky Kaushal will soon be earning his biggest grosser ever as lifetime total of Uri: The Surgical Strike (Rs. 245.36 crores) would be surpassed by tomorrow, if not today itself. From there, Chhaava will continue to go big for many weeks in succession, which means an entry into the Rs. 400 Crore Club is now there for the taking.

The Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava has been performing exceptionally well at the box office. After opening to a thunderous response in Maharashtra, the Laxman Utrekar directorial, which also features Rashmika Mandanna, witnessed exponential growth in business. The film raked in an impressive Rs. 33.10 crore on its opening day, and remarkably, its sixth-day business saw record collections of Rs. 32.40 crore. While a major portion of these earnings have come from Maharashtra, other territories across India have also experienced a significant upswing in collections.

With its spectacular box office performance, Chhaava has already cemented its position as one of Vicky Kaushal’s highest-grossing films. Currently, the film ranks second among his career’s highest earners, trailing only behind Uri – The Surgical Strike. While Uri – The Surgical Strike remains the actor’s biggest hit with a staggering total collection of Rs. 245.36 crore, Chhaava is rapidly closing in with Rs. 203.68 crore in just six days. This achievement places it far ahead of Raazi, which had a lifetime collection of Rs. 123.84 crore, and Sam Bahadur, which amassed Rs. 92.98 crore. Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, a romantic drama that found favour among audiences, had a total collection of Rs. 88 crore, while Bad Newz, despite its strong buzz, managed to reach Rs. 66.28 crore.

Among Kaushal’s previous releases, Bhoot: Part One – The Haunted Ship and Manmarziyaan struggled to achieve similar box office numbers, concluding their runs with Rs. 31.97 crore and Rs. 27.09 crore, respectively. In contrast, Chhaava has demonstrated not only stronger box office appeal but also greater consistency in daily collections, surpassing these previous releases in record time. Given its extraordinary run, Chhaava has now set a new benchmark for Kaushal’s career, solidifying his standing as a bankable star in Bollywood.

With its momentum showing no signs of slowing down, Chhaava is now heading into its second weekend, which is expected to witness another significant surge in business. Trade predictions indicate that if the film maintains its stronghold, it could soon near the Rs. 300 crore mark, making it Vicky Kaushal’s highest-grossing release ever. As audience demand continues to soar and word-of-mouth remains overwhelmingly positive, Chhaava is on track to break more records in the days ahead.

Laxman Utekar’s historical epic Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, has created waves at the box office, crossing the Rs. 200 crore mark in just six days. The film, which chronicles the life of Maratha Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, has been unstoppable, delivering phenomenal numbers across India, with Maharashtra leading the charge.

From the very beginning, Chhaava struck a chord with the audience, and the business in Maharashtra has been nothing short of sensational. The film’s collections skyrocketed on Wednesday (Day 6) with Rs. 32.40 crore, boosted by the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti holiday. Impressively, this figure is nearly at par with its Day 1 collection of Rs. 33.10 crore on Valentine’s Day, which is a testament to its strong audience pull and unwavering demand.

While Maharashtra remains Chhaava’s biggest contributor, the film has also gained traction in Rajasthan and West Bengal, where Wednesday’s collections showed a notable increase. The pan-India acceptance of this historical action film indicates its strong hold beyond its core Marathi-speaking audience.

With such an impressive trajectory, Chhaava is expected to continue its dominance at the box office. The film’s ability to maintain such high occupancy levels deep into its first week indicates a long and successful run ahead. Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava has not only set the box office on fire but has also solidified his position as a top-tier Bollywood star. With Maharashtra driving record-breaking numbers and other territories joining in, Chhaava is well on its way to becoming one of the highest-grossing films of the year.

It was an excellent Tuesday for Chhaava as collections actually grew further over Monday. Today is a holiday in Maharashtra on the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti and that pushed the collections in the state. However, even otherwise the drops in other parts of the country were minimal and as a result the overall collections have come out to be higher.

The Vicky Kaushal starrer breached the Rs. 25 crores mark again by bringing in Rs. 25.75 crores and that’s an improvement over Rs. 24.10 crores that had come a day before. The film is anyways playing on very high numbers and this push has only added on to the momentum. In fact, today it won’t be surprising if the film surpasses the Rs. 30 crores mark and that would be simply fantastic as there still would be one more day left for the week to be over.

So far, Chhaava has collected Rs. 171.28 crores and now it will enter Rs. 200 Crore Club today itself. While an entry into the Rs. 300 Crore Club would now be a cakewalk for the film, one waits to see how much further to that would it go in the final run. Indications are that the second weekend would be huge too for Chhaava and if that happens then sky would be the limit for it.

After scoring an excellent weekend, all eyes were on how does Chhaava hold on Monday. After a start of Rs. 33.10 crores on Friday, anything between Rs. 15-20 crores on Monday would have been quite good as well. However, the trending over the weekend, what with Sunday reaching Rs. 49.03 crores, indicated that the even Rs. 20 crores+ on Monday was possible.

Well, this is what happened as Rs. 24.10 crores came on Monday. The film had as it is gone on an overdrive on Sunday and especially with Maharashtra going berserk (pretty much expected too since the film is based there), a lot of spill over audience was expected to walk in as well on Monday. That reflected in huge footfalls for the film which is now a big success in the making. In fact, one can’t pin down a number on where it would be headed for and the real picture would be known on second Friday as the hold then would decide the path that Chhaava is headed for.

The Vicky Kaushal starrer has now collected Rs. 145.53 crores so far and there is so much more that’s still to come for the film in Week One itself. Rs. 200 crores would be crossed this week itself and while Rs. 300 crores lifetime is a given, the journey could well have just begun for the film. This one is a major success for Bollywood.
