Sky Force Box Office: Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya starrer enters Rs. 100 Crore Club

Sky Force, the patriotic action drama directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur, has achieved a significant milestone by entering the Rs. 100 crores club at the Indian box office. Starring Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya, Nimrat Kaur, and Sara Ali Khan, the film has captivated audiences nationwide.

Sky Force achieved the feat yesterday on its second Friday when it earned Rs. 4.60 crores. It has now reached a total of Rs. 104.30 crores. This accomplishment marks Sky Force as the first Hindi film of 2025 to cross the Rs. 100 crores mark.

Sky Force is based on India's attack on Pakistan's Sargodha airbase during the Indo-Pakistani air war of 1965. The film is produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios. Akshay Kumar's portrayal of Wing Commander Kumar Om Ahuja has been particularly lauded, as has Veer Pahariya's debut performance as IAF officer T. Krishna Vijaya.

The film faces competition from Shahid Kapoor starrer Deva, which released yesterday. However, with its positive word-of-mouth, the film has a chance to add onto its tally further from here onwards.

Sky Force has also ended the box office drought for Akshay as his last four releases – Mission Raniganj, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Sarfira and Khel Khel Mein – had failed to reach the three figure mark at the ticket window.
