Pushpa 2 (Hindi) Box Office: Creates HISTORY, enters Rs. 200 Crore Club in just 3 days with BIG SUNDAY yet to come

Pushpa 2: The Rule (Hindi) is set to be an all-time mega blockbuster and join the ranks of Stree 2, Jawan, Animal, Gadar 2 and Pathaan. The film is firing away practically every day and this trending was obvious when even on its second day it ended up scoring a huge half century. It has happened in the past when a film has taken a blockbuster start on the opening day but then gone down on the second, as was seen with Thugs of Hindostan. However, the kind of trending that Pushpa 2 has followed is on the lines of Jawan and if one considered just the Hindi versions then even better, which means it’s in here for a really long run.

That can well be seen from the fact that Saturday numbers have come out as Rs. 74 crores, which is even higher than Thursday collections of Rs. 72 crores. Of course, numbers do rise over the weekend but then when a film ends up scoring so huge already on its opening day, there is always a wait and watch scenario. In case of this Allu Arjun starrer, audiences have already started giving it a repeat watch and when something like that happens then you know that a film has been truly loved and will be a part of history.

No wonder, the records are already being created as Pushpa 2 has now emerged as the fastest Hindi release to enter the Rs. 200 Crore Club. Previously, Jawan had already done that but with support of south dubbed versions. In case of Pushpa 2, just the Hindi version has netted Rs. 205 crores in just three days with the big Sunday yet to come. Today, the film will comfortably cross Rs. 80 crores mark with an outside chance of hitting Rs. 85 crores. That means a four-day weekend of at least Rs. 285 crores is on the cards.

This is indeed wildfire!
