Kalki 2898 AD Box Office: Prabhas starrer stays in double digits on Tuesday as well

It was yet another double-digit day for Kalki 2898 AD (Hindi) as Rs. 13 crores more came in. This is certainly a drop over Rs. 16.50 crores that it had collected on Monday. Still, as an absolute number, it’s quite substantial and the best of the year so far on a Tuesday. In the times when box office is struggling to get big bucks and has been relying on medium budget films to do the trick by getting those Rs. 4-5 crores on a daily basis, Kalki 2898 AD (Hindi) is at least playing along in double digits.

Moreover, when compared to the first day of Rs. 22.50 crores, the drop is still little lesser than 50%. That’s good too and if somehow the drop is curtailed today and the collections are over Rs. 11 crores today, then yet again it would be a good hold. Post that the only thing remaining to be seen would be that whether Thursday collections too stay in double digits, something that would be possible if there isn’t much of a drop today.

Meanwhile, the film is now all set to cross Rs. 150 crores mark today. It has already reached Rs. 141.65 crores and Rs. 150 crores is there for the taking. That would be really good as post that the countdown should begin towards Rs. 200 crores landmark, something that the film would be aiming to achieve by close of second weekend itself.
