After collecting Rs. 170 crores on the opening day, this Nag Ashwin film stayed steady with Rs. 90 crores on the second day and jumped by 20% to collect Rs. 110 crores on the third day.
With this trend, the three-day total of Kalki 2898 AD stands at Rs. 370 crores and the epic futuristic saga is aiming at a four-day extended weekend of Rs. 500 crores. The film is performing phenomenally well globally - be it North India, South India, or the International Markets.
The business was impacted by the India vs South Africa World Cup Finals. The loss at the All India level is estimated to be around Rs. 8 to 10 crores.
