Fast X Box Office: Vin Diesel starrer crosses Rs. 80 crores after extended week 1, is a HIT

Hollywood action entertainer Fast X has emerged as a hit at the box office. In its extended eight-day week, the film has managed to reach Rs. 81 crores*. The film added Rs. 20 crores* more during the weekdays after the opening four-day weekend had brought in Rs. 61 crores, and that’s a good enough hold considering a lot of fanbase had already watched the biggie between Thursday to Sunday.

Moreover, IPL also intensified in the week gone by with the playoffs in action and that has kept a chunk of audience at home. On the other side there is The Kerala Story as well. With so many avenues of all around entertainment, for Fast X to go ahead and do bigger business than the lifetime of all other Hollywood grossers in the first eight days itself is a big deal indeed, something that shows yet again that big screen entertainment is alive and kicking.

The Vin Diesel led ensemble affair should now enter the Rs. 100 Crore Club this weekend itself as it should be the highest collecting film across other Bollywood releases, be it new or holdover. For that Rs. 20 crores more are required between Friday and Sunday, and it should manage that unless the last IPL eliminator on Friday and the big final on Sunday play truant.

*Estimates. Final numbers awaited
