Brahmastra Advance Booking Report: Film sells over 1.80 lakh tickets for the opening day across three multiplex chains

The much talked about and keenly anticipated Ayan Mukherji directorial Brahmastra is slated to hit screens tomorrow on September 9. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt the film which has been long in the making is set to open on a big note. With advance bookings for the film seeing a staggering response from the audience, expectations of Brahmastra’s box office business are currently at an all-time high.

As per reports, Brahmastra has managed to sell over 1.80 lakh tickets for its opening day alone across three major national multiple chains. Almost rivaling the total sale of tickets of the Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 saw, Brahmastra has managed to see 92,023 tickets at PVR properties alone. Following this is INOX and CINEPOLIS where the film saw its ticket sales pegged at 65,197 and 29,938 respectively.

Currently, with Brahmastra selling 1,87,158 tickets across these three theatre chains alone the film could see close to Rs. 10 cr. coming in from advance bookings alone on Day 1. If that was not enough, with more screens still to report on ticket sales, with single screens and spot bookings seeing even higher sales, trade opines that the opening day business of Brahmastra could easily near the Rs. 30 cr. mark.
