Sriram Raghavan's Merry Christmas release also preponed, to clash with Karan Johar's Yodha

The release date of Sriram Raghavan's Merry Christmas has been preponed. The Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif -starrer which was earlier supposed to be released on December 15, will now be hitting the theatres on December 8.

The film will be clashing with Karan Johar's production Yodha, which also preponed its release earlier today from December 15 to 8.

Merry Christmas is shot in two languages, Tamil and Hindi, with different supporting actors. The Hindi version co-stars Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand, while the Tamil version has Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams in the same roles. Ashwini Kalsekar and Radhika Apte will also be seen in cameos. The film will also introduce Pari, a child actor.

The film is directed by Sriram Raghavan, who has previously helmed films like AndhadhunBadlapur and Agent Vinod. Known for his brand of unique thrillers, this is his first collaboration with Katrina and Vijay. Merry Christmas is produced by Ramesh Taurani, Jaya Taurani, Sanjay Routray and Kewal.
