New motion poster of Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fail out; trailer to release on this date
A new motion poster for Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s upcoming film 12th Fail was unveiled on Monday. The film is headlined by Vikrant Massey.
The motion poster shows Vikrant’s visage with the film’s motto “Restart” being chanted by many students. Earlier a teaser of the film was released. The trailer will be released on Tuesday.
12th Fail is based on Anurag Pathak's novel, about the journey of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS officer Shraddha Joshi. The film is also inspired by millions of true stories of students attempting the world's toughest competitive exam - UPSC. According to the makers, it's the first film to be shot in Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar, the hub of UPSC preparations in the national capital.
The film marks the return of Vidhu to the director’s chair after 2020’s Shikara. It is slated to release on October 27 this year.
