Aamir Khan announces Sitaare Zameen Par: 'Going ten steps ahead with the theme of Taare Zameen Par'
Aamir Khan, in a recent interview, announced that he is coming up with his next film, titled Sitaare Zameen Par.
During the interview, Aamir said that the project carries a similar theme of his 2007 film Taare Zameen Par.
"I have not spoken about it publicly and I won't be able to say much now also but I can tell you the title. The title of the film is Sitaare Zameen Par. You must have remembered my film Taare Zameen Par. We are moving 10 steps ahead with the same theme," he said.
Talking about Sitaare... Aamir further said, "Taare Zameen Par was an emotional film, this film will make you laugh. That film made you cry, this one will entertain you. But the theme is the same that's why we kept this name very thoughtfully. In Taare Zameen Par, my character helps the special child Ishaan. In Sitaare Zameen Par, those 9 boys, who have their own issues they help me. We have flipped it."
When it comes to other projects, Aamir is also producing Lahore, 1947, which will star Sunny Deol and will be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
