Ranveer Singh calls Deepika Padukone ‘my queen’; shares throwback photo from Cannes posing with her poster while shutting down separation rumours
For over a week, rumours have been rife on social media that all is not well between Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. The actress is in Paris for Paris Fashion Week 2022, completing work commitments. Ranveer too, has been busy with his appearances at events, brand endorsements and more. However, he took some time out to compliment his ladylove, whilst shutting down all the separation rumours that are circulating on the internet.
A day ago, luxury jewellery brand Cartier announced Deepika Padukone as their new brand ambassador. Soon, the actor took to Twitter to respond to the announcement and called her ‘my queen’. “My Queen! Doing us proud ???????? ❤️.”

The very same day, he made another post for his wife on Instagram. Sharing two throwback photos from Cannes Film Festival 2022, where Deepika was making several appearances as a jury member, the actor was seen posing right in front of her poster. The actor captioned the post as, “I just had to!" with the hashtags Throwback, Cannes and Proud Me. He added, "Have a great show today, baby!" and tagged Deepika.

Recently, on the panel of FICCI Frames 2022, Ranveer confirmed that fans will see him and Deepika super soon on the big screen again. While he didn’t reveal the project, it is speculated that the actress is making a cameo in a song in Rohit Shetty’s directorial Cirkus starring Ranveer. He said, “Touchwood…We met and started dating in 2012… so 2022 is ten years of me and Deepika. I have nothing but the utmost respect for her and I admire her a lot. I have learnt a lot from her in my personal life too. There is a sweet surprise for everyone. You guys will see us together very soon. She is one of the best things that has happened to me and am so grateful for her in my life.”
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh will next star in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus, releasing on December 23. The film stars Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez. He also has Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film stars Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. The film is slated for 2023 release. The actor has also signed Shankar’s Anniyan remake.
