Liger: Vijay Deverakonda sports chappals at trailer launch; Ranveer Singh says, 'Bhai ka style dekho'

Vijay Deverakonda's highly anticipated trailer for his upcoming film, Liger was unveiled in Hyderabad and Mumbai amid much fanfare. Starring the young man as a professional MMA fighter, the film stars Ramya Krishnan and Ananya Panday in pivotal roles with Mike Tyson's special appearance. At the press conference, Ranveer asked why Vijay was wearing chappals at the trailer launch.

Ranveer Singh, who was the special guest at the event, pointed out, “Bhai ka style dekho, aise lag raha hai, ye mere trailer launch pe aaya hai ya main inke trailer launch pe aaya hu (Look at brother's style, it looks like, he has come to my trailer launch instead of me coming to his trailer launch).'”

Vijay had travelled from Hyderabad after launch Telugu trailer on Thursday. He was dressed in a black tee with ‘The’ written in uppercase, paired with beige cargo pants and white chappals. Ranveer compared Vijay to John Abraham who also wears chappals to events.

Liger is all set to hit the big screens from 25th of August. The Puri Jagannadh directorial also stars Ramya Krishnan and Ananya Panday in pivotal roles.
