Trailer of The Freelancer: The Conclusion out

The trailer of the final episodes of Neeraj Pandey’s show The Freelancer was unveiled recently. Titled The Freelancer: The Conclusion, the series is directed by Bhav Dhulia and is led by Mohit Raina, along with veteran actor Anupam Kher. It also features actors like Kashmira Pardeshi, Sushant Singh, John Kokken, Gauri Balaji, Navneet Malik, Manjiri Faddnis and Sarah Jane Dias amongst others.

The show is based on the book A Ticket to Syria by Shirish Thorat.

The trailer shows Mohit as a “security consultant” Avinash Kamath also known as the Freelancer who undertakes covert operations. His mission this time is to rescue a girl trapped in ISIS controlled Syria. The trailer is filled with a lot of action and gunfights.

Talking about playing the character of Avinash, Mohit said, “The Conclusion will see Avinash explore more facets of his character and his actual self as he sets out to rescue Aliya. Playing the character was a creatively satisfying and enjoyable experience but was equally challenging at the same time.”

Creator and showrunner Neeraj Pandey said, “We are very happy with the overwhelming audience response and positive reaction to the initial episodes of ‘The Freelancer’ which were released by Hotstar on the 1st of September and we hope that it is replicated when the concluding episodes culminating in the mission finale are released.”

Anupam Kher, who plays Dr. Khan in the series, said, “My character was well received by the audiences and left a lingering impression and the impending question of how will Avinash Kamath save Aliya. With The Freelancer: The Conclusion, we are back to answer these queries and it's time to blow all covers.”

The series’ final episodes will start streaming from December 15.
