Sidharth Malhotra’s Yodha to now release on this date
After the release date being shifted three times before, there is now a new premiere date for Sidharth Malhotra’s actioner Yodha. Directed by debutant duo Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, the film is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
Initially Yodha was slated to release on July 7 this year. Then the release date was shifted to December 15. On the date, it was clashing with Sriram Raghavan’s Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif-starrer Merry Christmas. The makers then shifted the film’s release a week earlier to December 8 but Merry Christmas too shifted its premiere to the date.
Earlier, indirectly commenting on the clash, Karan had taken to his threads account and had written, "Clashing on a date without the courtesy of a phone call is hopefully not the way forward for the studios and producers …. If we don't stand united in these tough and challenging theatrical days then calling us a fraternity is futile…”
Now, finally Yodha has shifted its release to March 15, 2024. The makers shared two new posters from the film on Instagram while making the announcement.
“Gear up for a touchdown full of action & thrill! Fasten your seatbelts, #Yodha will be landing on 15th March, 2024,” wrote Sidharth in the caption.
Yodha also stars Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna.
