Trailer of UT69 out
The makers of Raj Kundra's biopic UT69, starring himself in the lead, released the film's trailer on Wednesday. Helmed by Shahnawaz Ali, the film is all set to hit theatres on November 3.
The trailer shows Raj Kundra getting convicted in a case related to disseminating pornographic videos via an app. He then goes to jail and initially suffers due to lack of amenities, and resources in prison. Eventually, he gets used to the prison and the prisoners.
SVS Studios is backing the film, along with The Bigger Picture Films. AA Films will be presenting UT69. The dialogues for the screenplay have been penned by Vikram Bhatti. The technical crew of UT69 includes director Shahnawaz Ali himself as the editor, Kevin Jason Crasta as the cinematographer and Prince Mulla scoring the background music.
Raj gained notoriety a few years ago after the Mumbai Police detained him on suspicion of disseminating pornographic videos via an app. He was given anticipatory bail by the Supreme Court last year, in the case.
