Kareena Kapoor starts filming for Rohit Shetty's Singham Again

Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan on Saturday started shooting for Singham Again, filmmaker Rohit Shetty's upcoming instalment in his cop cinematic universe.

The upcoming actioner is the third film in the Ajay Devgn-led Singham series, which started with 2011's Singham and was followed by Singham Returns (2014), which also starred Kareena. Kareena has worked with Rohit Shetty in Golmaal 3 (2010) and Singham Returns (2014).

"Do I need to say who I am shooting for? P.S. He is one of my most favourite directors... This is my fourth film with him…and of course not the last… Ready Steady Go… Rohit Shetty," the actor wrote on Instagram alongside a photograph from the sets of the movie.

Ranveer Singh took to the comments section and wrote, "This is my fourth film with him too! And my first with YOU!" Ranveer has worked with Rohit Shetty in three films before, which include Simmba (2018), Sooryavanshi (2021) and Cirkus (2022).

Earlier in the day, Kareena Kapoor took to her Instagram to share a selfie of her on the way to the airport. She joined the shoot of the action film at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

Kareena was last seen in the thriller Jaane Jaan, which was released on Netflix last month. The film, which was an adaptation of Higashino Keigo's bestselling 2005 novel "The Devotion of Suspect X", also starred Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat.
