Soundtrack of Akshay Kumar's Mission Raniganj is out 

The makers of the film Mission Raniganj, starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role, released the film's original soundtrack recently. Comprised of five songs, namely, Jalsa 2.0, Jeetenge, Jeetenge (Reprise), Keemti, and Nanak Naam Jahaaz Hai, the songs have been by Satinder Sartaaj, B. Praak, Arko, Setbin Ben, Vishal Mishra, and Jatinder Singh, respectively.  

 

Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, Mission Raniganj is based on the life of engineer Jaswant Singh Gill, who, in 1989, saved the lives of 65 miners stuck in Mahabir colliery in West Bengal's Raniganj. Gill devised a special steel capsule using which the miners were rescued. He was awarded the Sarvottam Jeevan Raksha Padak for his bravery by the then President of India, Ramaswamy Venkataraman, in 1991.

Apart from Akshay, the film also stars Parineeti Chopra, Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra, Dibyendu Bhattacharya Mukesh Bhatt, Akshay Verma, Ishtiyak Khan, Dinesh Lamba and Virendra Saxena.

Mission Raniganj boasts an ensemble cast that includes the likes of Parineeti Chopra, Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra, Ravi Kishan, Varun Badola, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Rajesh Sharma, Virendra Saxena, Shishir Sharma, Ananth Mahadevan, Jameel Khan, Sudhir Pandey, Bachan Pachera, Mukesh Bhatt, and Omkar Das Manikpuri.

The film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Ajay Kapoor.
