Chandu Champion to be Sajid Nadiadwala’s 30th film to be shot in Kashmir

Some portions of Kartik Aaryan-starrer sports drama Chandu Champion, will be shot in Kashmir. The film will be directed by Kabir Khan and is backed by Sajid Nadiadwala.

Chandu Champion has gone on floors with muhurat shot in London, ahead of which the first look poster of Kartik Aaryan was released.

This will be Sajid’s 30th production to be shot in Kashmir. In the past, Sajid has produced films that were shot in the state like Highway, starring Alia Bhatt; Heropanti, which was also the debut film of Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon; Phantom, starring Saif Ali Khan; and Satyaprem Ki Katha, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani.

Although the plot of Chandu Champion is kept under wrapsit is touted to be a sports drama and is reportedly based on a real-life story. Director Kabir Khan, in an earlier interview, had revealed that Chandu Champion will be about an “unknown hero.”

The film is set for release in June 2024.
