Shah Rukh Khan grooves with Nayanthara in Jawan's Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya

Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya, the new song from Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Jawan, was released today. The song is crooned by Anirudh Ravichander, Vishal Dadlani and Shilpa Rao. The music is composed by Anirudh with lyrics by Kumaar.

Along with the song’s release, the film’s trailer release date was also announced. Jawan’s trailer will be out on August 31.

In the music video, we see SRK in black jeans and a vest, topped up with a black shirt and shades. He can be seen matching steps to the beats and swaying. We also see him doing his signature ‘wide-arm’ pose. The film’s female lead Nayanthara also joins him. Sanya Malhotra and Sanjeeta Bhattacharya are also seen grooving to the music. The choreography for the song is done by Vaibhavi Merchant.

Recently at an Ask Me Anything session on X, amidst increasing expectations from fans, Shah Rukh said that his team is working on a trailer for Jawan. “Ok guys time to go make the trailer as everyone wants that. T Series & Anirudh & Atlee had wanted to put out a song. Will leave a teaser now….& get Antony L Ruben to work on the trailer. Song is….Not …Ramaiya Vastavaiya. Bye for now. Love you all,” he had written.

Previously, two songs from the film have been released by the makers, the peppy ‘Zinda Banda’ and the groovy love ballad, ‘Chaleya’.

Directed by Atlee, Jawan also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, and Ridhi Dogra, and has a special appearance by Deepika Padukone.

The film will be released in theatres on September 7.
