Ghoomer title song is here
On Tuesday, the makers of Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher's Ghoomer released the title track of the film. Written and directed by R Balki, the film has music composed by Amit Trivedi. Dipakshi Kalita and Altamash Faridi have crooned the song which has lyrics by Kausar Munir.
The video song shows Abhishek Bachchan letting himself lose, as he visualises Saiyami's character entering the cricket grounds and the words 'Ghoomer Ghoomer' reverberating from the stands. We then see the struggles Saiyami's character undergoes to train herself to play with one hand, her left hand.
Ghoomer is inspired by the story of Karoly Takacs, the late Hungarian right-hand shooter who won two Olympic gold medals with his left hand after his other one was seriously injured. Besides Saiyami and Abhishek, the film also stars Shabana Azmi and Angad Bedi.
Vishal Sinha has handled the cinematography for Ghoomer. It will get a theatrical release in India on August 18.
